Anuvab Pal is a playwright, screenwriter novelist and standup comedian based in Mumbai. He was one of the earliest comics on the Indian scene and toured nationally with his show The Nation Wants To Know.

In 2017, his special Alive At 40 was released on Amazon Prime Video. In December 2018, Pal performed a well-received 12-minute set at the Arts Hour New Year International Comedy Show, organised by the BBC World Service.
