Neville Shah started comedy while he was still in advertising before giving in completely to standup. He is a former member of comedy group Schitzengiggles (SNG), which split up in January 2019.

He has performed at venues across India as well as internationally, and is known for his fast-paced, sometimes dark stories about his own life and narrative. Shah was among the first Indian comics to perform at The Comedy Store when it launched in India.

He was also one of the first 14 comedians to be signed on by Amazon for a comedy special, What Are You Laughing At?, which released on Amazon Prime Video in April 2017, in which he talks about dealing with his mother’s death, religion, and therapy.
