Supriya Joshi shot to internet fame in 2015 when her six-second videos on the now-defunct social media platform Vine started going viral. She was discovered by comedian Tanmay Bhat, and went on to join AIB as a writer for some of their most popular comedy sketches. You has also acted in a bunch of Buzzfeed videos and Sumukhi Suresh’s Behti Naak, and been a contestant on TLC’s comedy reality show Queens Vs Kings. Her foray into standup comedy began with open mics in 2017, and Joshi has since gained popularity for her bold and open style, and mad skills at shutting down body-shamers and internet trolls.
