Varun Thakur is one of India’s most popular standup comics, best known for his alter ego ‘struggling actor Vicky Malhotra’, which went viral when he created it on Snapchat through a passing filter. He has since leveraged the character in his live shows, and even has a special out on Amazon Prime Video called Vicky This Side, Varun That Side, which released on TKTK. Thakur is also co-founder of India’s third largest comedy collective Schitzengiggles (SnG), which split in January 2019.
