India’s obsession with cricket makes it the prime touring destination for a podcast focused on the sport. And that’s precisely what DeadAnt Live is doing. Australian comedy cricket podcast The Grade Cricketer (TGC) is coming to India for the third edition of DeadAnt Live’s The Loop. Hosts Sam Perry and Ian Higgins will be hitting up Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai on 4 May, 5 May and 9 May respectively.

Since they started in 2016, the podcasting duo has amassed a massive social media following on the back of their satirical humour, razor-sharp insights, and unfiltered takes on everything cricket. Over their 290 episode run, they’ve also brought on some of cricket’s biggest legends as guests. Adam Gilchrist, Travis Head, Ricky Ponting, Sunil Gavaskar, Wasim Akram and Mitchell Starc have all been on the show to share their anecdotes from the field, analyse matches and share their professional insight into the sport’s evolution.

TGC has also adapted their podcast into a live show, bringing their infectious energy and candid conversations to the stage. They’ve performed across the globe, most famously bringing on Ravi Shastri as a guest for a sold-out show at Broadway in the United States during the 2024 T20 World Cup. With A-list cricketers and creators in their corner and an upcoming season of the IPL, you never know who might join them for the India shows.
