“Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?” We’ve officially closed “the loop” (geddit?) on Daniel Sloss’ eight-city India tourโthe biggest one in the country by an international comedianโproduced by DeadAnt Live, our events division. Around 15,000 adoring fans lined up outside venues in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Goa, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata to catch his show Can’t. The tour was a part of โThe Loopโ, a new DeadAnt Live initiative, which is the embodiment of our ambition to create space for laughter, provocative comedy, and cultural dialogue throughout India.
Leading up to his trip to India, Sloss had mentioned he’s looking forward to lots of food, fan interactions and some offbeat explorations. And thatโs what he got. Sloss and his opening act Kai Humphries were inundated with fans who came out with gifts and artwork for them, ate copious amounts of biryaniโincluding a meal from comedian Aadar Malik’s homeโand earned standing ovations across packed auditoriums.
With 10 shows across eight cities over 10 days, it all feels like a fever dream looking back. But we’ve got videos and pictures to prove that it actually happened. Scroll on, you crazy diamond. Or something.
