The multi-hyphenate Bhuvan Bam is now ready to conquer the world of fiction. His new show Taaza Khabar is about a Mumbai sanitation worker stumbling upon a miracle, and the ripples it creates in his otherwise simple life.

The series marks the second collaboration between Bam and director Himank Gaur, who has also made Bam’s YouTube series Dhindora. Produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Productions, Taaza Khabar is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from 6 January.

Written by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal, Taaza Khabar also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, JD Chakravarthy, Deven Bhojani, Prathmesh Parab, Shilpa Shukla, Mahesh Manjrekar and Nitya Mathur in pivotal roles.
