Robot sex dolls, the MeToo movement, white male privilege, hipsters. “I feel like I can be brave tonight…” ventures American comedian Bill Burr in the trailer for his upcoming comedy special, Paper Tiger. “I’m a male feminist,” he coos sarcastically, baiting his audience.

A minute-long trailer deliberately packed with 2019’s most popular keywords honour-bound to grab attention and trigger premature outrage, Burr’s new special releases next Tuesday, 10 September, on Netflix.

The one in which “his anger issues have anger issues”, Paper Tiger is the comedian’s sixth hour-long special, filmed at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London.
