First, we had Kanan Gill’s big news, and we told you more was coming! Put your hands together now for Kenny Sebastian. The guitar-wielding, bucket bath-taking, chai-drinking, dosa-loving comedian will now be represented worldwide by one of America’s biggest and longest-running talent agencies, William Morris Entertainment (WME).
For those who need context—and some good ol’ fashioned name-dropping—to explain how stellar this is, Willian Morris Agency (which started in 1898, before it merged with Endeavor in 2009 to become WME) had Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chaplin on their roster.
Today, its never-ending list of artists and content creators across music, comedy and more include Adele, Justin Timberlake, Paris Hilton, and Peter Frampton. In comedy, Sebastian joins Kevin Hart, Adam Sandler, Amy Schumer, Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Anthony Jeselnik, Bill Burr *(can we stop yet?)* Conan O’Brien, Drew Michael, Gary Gulman, Hasan Minhaj, Mark Normand, Mike Myers, Neal Brennan, Norm Macdonald, *(srsly?)* Ray Romano, Steve Martin, Tina Fey, Tim Allen, Vince Vaughn, Wanda Sykes, *(okay, c’mon)* Weird Al Yankovic, Whoopi Goldberg, Zack Galifianakis… (phew) among others.
OML will continue to manage Sebastian; WME comes in for his live international shows, ensuring he reaches wider audiences and all the right venues while touring abroad.
