A little over a month after being physically assaulted at a comedy show in Solapur, comedian Pranit More has returned with a YouTube video detailing the incident. More, who was attacked by 12 men for making a joke about actor Veer Pahariya in February, revisits the incident in this 22-minute clip. He’s not seeking sympathy though. The comedian mines the incident for jokes and delivers.
More retells the events of the day and how it affected him and his relatives. He even thanks the standup community and fans for extending their support. The comedian also briefly touches upon the India’s Got Latent row which landed Samay Raina in trouble with the authorities.
The comedian ends the video on a hopeful note, declaring that he won’t shy away from performing anywhere in the state and country. He’s an artist and this is his job. “Moden pan vaknaar nahi (will break but won’t bend over),” More says as he quotes his father.
