Comedian (and DJ?!) Daniel Fernandes is bursting out of the blocks in 2023 with a brand new standup comedy special titled Alive & Vaccinated. In a recent Instagram AMA, Fernandes said the special will drop in the last week of January or early February. The comedian also announced that he’s taking his new show I’m Only Going To Say This Once on the road next month. 

Alive & Vaccinated is Fernandes’ third special after his 2019 debut Shadows and 2020’s Are You Understanding What I’m Saying, the first Indian crowd work special. This special continues with the pay-as-you-like-model that he successfully introduced with Shadows.

“Alive & Vaccinated is a hat tip to everyone who survived the pandemic with material that’s dark, intelligent and dirty,” Fernandes told DeadAnt. “It’s a very different version of the comedian you may have witnessed in Shadows, one that has no filter, which basically means a few people might get really pissed off.”

According to Fernandes, his latest show I’m Only Going To Say This Once is a “mix of crowd work and new material.” The comedian hopes to fashion the new hour into a special. “It’s completely spontaneous, unfiltered and heaps of fun! Buy a ticket!”
