Just For Laughs Montreal just announced the New Faces Of Comedy for 2022—an annual showcase of the rising stars in comedy—and Anirban Dasgupta has made the cut! The comedian has been slotted into the first-ever International segment of the New Faces showcase, which includes Blake Freeman, Catherine Bohart, Geraldine Hickey, Jason Leong, Michelle Brasier, Rhys James, Sophie Duker, Suzi Ruffell and Wary Nichen.

Dasgupta will join a total of 61 other New Faces in Montreal for a special showcase in the Just For Laughs comedy festival. The comedian will perform alongside international New Faces touted to become globally recognised comedy stars. JFL’s New Faces has served as a launchpad for some of comedy’s biggest players including Kevin Hart, Jimmy Fallon, Kumail Nanjiani, Gabriel Iglesias, Ali Wong and Pete Davidson.
