Varun Grover Wins Filmfare Award For Best Dialogue In ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’

What a year it’s turning out to be for Varun Grover! The writer-comedian has now won an award for Best Dialogue in his film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar at the 67th Filmfare Awards. Grover will share the award with SAPF co-writer Dibakar Bannerjee. Grover was also nominated alongside Bannerjee for the Best Story and Best Screenplay awards. This is Grover’s first Filmfare award and third nomination after having been nominated as the Best Lyricist in the 61st Filmfare Awards in 2016.

The dark comedy starring Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor was also nominated for the Best Film (Critics’), Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female), Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female), Best Costume, Best Editing and Best Production Design awards.
