American sketch-comedy show Saturday Night Live will launch its 47th (!!) season on 2 October, with the show streaming live on NBC’s Peacock for the first time. The show has also announced a stellar lineup of first-time hosts for the first four episodes: Owen Wilson, Kim Kardashian, Rami Malek and Jason Sudeikis.

Wilson—who has been in the limelight for his performance in Marvel’s Loki and upcoming film French Dispatch—will take over hosting duties for the first episode on 2 October. Kacey Musgraves will be the musical guest on the episode.

Entrepreneur and reality show star Kim Kardashian West, who was recently in the news for her MET Gala outfit, is all set to make her SNL debut on 9 October. “OMFG no turning back now!!!! LOL I’m hosting SNL!!!!!!” said West on Twitter. Singer-songwriter Halsey will also make an appearance on the episode.

Rami Malek will take up hosting duties on 16 October, a couple of weeks after the release of the new James Bond film No Time To Die, which he is a part of. Rapper Young Thug whose album Punk will release on 15 October will perform during the episode.

Last but definitely not least, SNL writer and cast member Jason Sudeikis will return on 23 October to host the show for the first time. The actor, who recently picked up an Emmy for his performance on Ted Lasso, will have Brandi Carlile as his musical guest.
