Move aside, The Bear. There’s a new kid on the block. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s The Studio bagged 13 wins from their 23 nominations—the most for a comedy series, a record that was previously held by The Bear. The show was named the best comedy series of the year and Rogen took home the best actor award in a comedy series. Him and his collaborator Evan Goldberg won the award for best direction and Rogen and his fellow writers Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory and Frida Perez also won the best writing award.

In other bittersweet news, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was named the best talk series just two months after CBS announced its cancellation. Colbert and his team received a standing ovation from the attendees with some of them even chanting “Stephen! Stephen!” when they took the stage.

There were two historic wins as well. Severance’s Tramell Tillman was named the best supporting actor in a drama series, making him the first black man to receive the honour. Owen Cooper became the youngest male actor to win in any acting category when he bagged the award for best supporting actor in drama series for his work on Adolescence.

The evening was hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze. It’s available to stream on JioHotstar in India.
