Comedian Urooj Ashfaq has been bagging constant Ws at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. Ashfaq topped getting a shoutout from Daniel Sloss for her show Oh No! and meeting Phoebe Waller-Bridge with the biggest announcement yet. Today, Ashfaq shared that she’s been nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards in the Best Newcomer category!

Created for original sponsors Perrier in 1981, these awards have become one of the most coveted of all comedy prizes. Awarded to the best comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, previous winners of the Best Newcomer Award include Tim Vine, Milton Jones, Tim Minchin, Sarah Millican and Alex Edelman.
