We can’t imagine what took Comicstaan 1 runner-up and fan favourite Rahul Dua a whole year to release his first video (the pressure of a looming Season 2?), but it’s finally here!

Lauded on the show for his storytelling skills, also on display in this clip, Dua talks about a posh housewarming party he “recently” attended, and how rich people make him uncomfortable. While he now knows to say things like “Single Malt”, “on-the-rocks”, and “bourbon” when he’s hanging with the swish set, he still can’t wrap his head around people who think it’s perfectly fine to spend Rs. 20,000 on jeans that do nothing but get worn. Hari Om.

Dua has been touring live with fellow-Comicstaan participant and Season 1 winner, Nishant Suri (The Dua-Suri Show) and the work shows in his more confident stage presence. The video clocks in at just over eight minutes, but it’s an effortless watch, especially for a post-lunch slump.
