If you frequent the lanes of Indian YouTube, Vivek Samtani is a name you’ve most definitely heard of. In just two years, the comedian has uploaded a slew of standup comedy videos—including a half-hour comedy special titled Thank You, Mom and Dad and two crowd work specials—and created two comedy format shows including the viral comedy dating show Andha Pyaar. With over a million views on almost every episode, Samtani is a force to reckon with.

But if you’re someone who is looking to see Samtani live in action, you’re in luck. The comedian has announced an extensive 19 city tour for his latest hour Ladies Aadmi that kicks off on 2 May in Surat. Now’s the best time to catch him on stage because like he told us, “Watch us while you still can… because you never know…” We wonder what he’s referring to.

Quick! What’s the show about?

The show is all about knowing what’s right and fighting with my intrusive thoughts. It’s basically a look into how men perceive a relationship initially or more specifically, how I used to perceive them than actually knowing how they should be.

How many shows are you doing, across how many cities? Will you be adding more?

I have planned 20-25 shows so far. Let’s see how long I tour with it. I might end up doing it up until I am having fun with it.

How long did you take to write this material?

I think some bits are more than 3-4 years old. But majority of the hour has been a work in progress for the last 6-8 months.

Will you be recording this material?

Yes. If the government allows us to post it online without breaking the venue.

Why are you calling the show ‘Ladies Aadmi’?

Its a small bit that I do that revolves around the hate comments I get. That’s where I got the idea from.

According to you, who would be the ideal plus-one for the show?

I think your date would be the best plus-one.

Your elevator pitch for people to come watch it live?

I mean, watch us while you still can… because you never know.

On a scale of 1-wtfamidoing how nervous are you?

Given my height I usually refrain from going around any scale but I am just happy that I get to do something which makes others happy. So, I’m just happy.

What’s your dating advice for the single people in this world?

Watch Andha Pyaar.

A song you have on repeat currently?

Tere Bin by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.
