Comedian Aashish Solanki is going to start the year by dishing out some heat. The comedian made a post on Instagram on 10 January announcing The Pretty Good Roast Show at Delhi’s Laugh Store, which will see Solanki taking on the duties of a roast master as his panel of comedians make jokes about Anubhav Singh Bassi, Kusha Kapila and Ashneer Grover, the former co-founder and managing director of Indian fintech company BharatPe who was also part of the first season of Shark Tank India.

The first show will take place on 16 January and feature comedians Aaditya Kulshreshth, Gurleen Pannu, Samay Raina and Shreya Priyam Roy who will be taking down Instagram sensation Kusha Kapila one joke at a time. “I don’t remember consenting to it,” joked Kapila when we reached out to her for a comment. “Mere saath chitting hui hai.” She’s sure that this show is going to burn some bridges. “I genuinely think I will block Samay after this roast because he plans to decimate me,” she said. “Gurleen will likely block me after this roast.”

The roast of Anubhav Singh Bassi—which will take place on 17 January—will feature comedians Kushagra Srivastava, Maheep Singh, Rahul Dua and Shreeja Chaturvedi (whom Bassi had dubbed zeher for her roast jokes on a YouTube livestream). Gaurav Gupta, Gaurav Kapoor, Jaspreet Singh and Ravi Gupta will be throwing the punches at Grover on 6 February.

All the show posters say “live recording” so you can expect to catch a glimpse on YouTube or Instagram. Solanki has also mentioned in the caption that he’ll be adding more shows soon. So, let’s hang tight and see what the comic has in store for us!
