The new season of MTV India’s most iconic show and their raison d’être, Roadies is back. It is unclear at the time of writing this story exactly how many years the show has been around. Our fact-checking team reached out to the channel for exact dates, but we were instead counter-challenged. “ROADIE BANEGA TU?” the telephone operator shouted, seconds before telling us never call them again. According to reports, the management themselves lost track of time and have been using distractions for the last few years abandoning numbers altogether and replacing them with random words: Roadies Xtreme, Roadies Rising and, this year, Roadies: Real Heroes.

In an effort to do things differently this year, MTV India has confirmed that they will be adding two guest judges to the panel: Aditi Mittal and Biswa Kalyan Rath join Rannvijay Singha and Gang Leaders Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia, Raftaar, Nikhil Chinapa. Our insider tells us tasks will include chasing pigeons, trying to get away with sexist jokes, explaining to Abish Mathew why he’s not a judge on this show either, and completing Mittal and Rath’s jokes at their own risk.
