Popular Indian reality TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati‘s tryst with Indian comedians continues on 14 November. The show’s iconic host Amitabh Bachchan will have comedians Abhishek Upmanyu, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Ravi Gupta and Harsh Gujral in the hot seats opposite him. Promos for the episode were released on Sony LIV’s social pages earlier today while the comedians revealed the news on their personal accounts yesterday.

In the promo we see Bachchan bringing the guests on to enormous applause. “Sir, humare apne show mein itni taali nahi bajti,” quips Gujral to crack up the veteran actor. Upmanyu has the host in splits as he discusses the jobs he did before pursuing standup comedy. “Woh nazariye ki baat hai. Kuch log kehte hai chhod di, main kehta hoon nikal diya,” he says when Bachchan asks him about the three jobs he quit.

In the episode we’ll also see Bachchan try his hand at standup comedy. The episode will air at 9 pm on Children’s Day.

This is not the first time that Indian content creators or comedians have been a part of the show. At the beginning of the year, Tanmay Bhat, Samay Raina, Bhuvan Bam and Kamiya Jani went on the show. Last year, comedian Zakir Khan was seen on the hot seat opposite Bachchan. Vir Das’ International Emmy win and Urooj Ashfaq’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe victory were also highlighted on the TV show as answers to questions.
