YouTube star Bhuvan Bam has announced his debut web series Dhindhora, which will premiere in October as a YouTube Original.

Bam shared the poster of his upcoming show on Instagram and Twitter yesterday, with the caption, “Dhindora- A BB Ki Vines web series, coming this October to your YouTube screen! #Dhindora peet do.”

The premise of the show centres on Bam and his family’s experiences, depicting the larger-than-life dreams of the common man. It will be similar to the content that is available on Bam’s YouTube channel, which hit 3 billion views in January 2021.

Produced by Rohit Raj under the BB Ki Vines Productions label, this will be India’s first fictional YouTube Original series. The eight-part show will feature 10 incredibly famous characters from the BB Ki Vines Universe including Bhuvan, Banchoddas, Sameer Fuddi, Titu Mama, Bablu, Janki, Mrs. Verma.

“It has been truly incredible to have received all the love since I started out with YouTube six years ago,” Bam said in a press release. “I feel YouTube Originals is the most fitting platform for Dhindhora to reach all audiences,” he added.

“I feel this is something which has never been created before in India. It is totally unique and the way he has presented all his characters, aap dekh sakte ho ki kitna farak hain,” YouTuber Ajey Nagar, better known as Carryminati, said at a press conference after getting an exclusive sneak preview of the trailer.
