Coldplay fans all over India are currently living out the song (quite literally) Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall. The tickets for their shows in the country on January 18 and 19, 2025, at Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Stadium weren’t easy to snag with 1.3 crore people allegedly logging on to book their seats. While there is speculation about the shows being cancelled due to massive black marketing of the tickets, we’re here to discuss another hypothesis. Will Coldplay go on The Great Indian Kapil Show?

Ed Sheeran’s appearance on Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show in the previous season was a delightful surprise for fans. The English singer-songwriter had flown down for a show in March and went onto the comedy talk-show to indulge his fans with a bhangra version of Shape of You and singing the timeless classic Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai. Will Chris Martin in Co. do something similar? Will we hear Paradise with some desi beats?

“Oh, I would love it if Coldplay would come on the show,” cast member Archana Puran Singh told News18 in an interview. “It would be iconic. I am sure there will always be surprises that we will bring on our show. The Netflix team and our creative team is constantly working on what can be the next big thing that we can present on the show.”

“If Netflix is with us, we can achieve anything,” added Kiku Sharda.
