The Viral Fever’s (TVF) popular college comedy-drama Hostel Daze is returning for a third season on 16 November. The Amazon Prime Video show starring Shubham Gaur, Ahsaas Channa, Nikhil Vijay, Luv Vispute and Ayushi Gupta follows the exploits of engineering students living the hostel life. The teaser for the upcoming season dropped two days ago and we saw some more familiar faces from the Indian standup comedy scene including late comedian Raju Srivastava.

This season deals with every engineer’s “mid-life crisis aka the third year”. We are treated to a montage of the gang’s shenanigans where we also spotted Kumar Varun and TVF veteran Vipul Goyal. Goyal has previously co-written and acted in TVF’s original web series Humorously Yours. We couldn’t tell the nature of their roles on the show. However, from a quick look at Srivastava in the clip, we can safely assume he will be playing a chaiwala near the college campus. 

The showrunners have also made a major change to the cast as Adarsh Gourav will not reprise his role as the show’s protagonist Ankit. His shoes will be filled by Utsav Sarkar. Vijay who plays Jatin aka Jhantoo on the show seems to be the central character in the upcoming season.

Directed by Abhinav Anand, Hostel Daze will premiere on 16 November on Amazon Prime Video.
