Keanu Reeves is set to star in actor and director Jonah Hill’s new project Outcome, a dark comedy co-written by Hill and Ezra Woods. 

In Outcome, which has been picked up by Apple Original Films, Reeves will play damaged Hollywood actor Reef, who is forced to confront his murky past when an extortionist confronts him with a mysterious old clip. The Apple Studios production will be co-produced by Hill and Matt Dines’s production company Strong Baby. 

Reeves is having a stellar year, with the latest instalment of John Wick raking in a franchise-best $73.5 million at the domestic box office on its opening day. Hill continues his prolific run after dropping the critically acclaimed documentary Stutz (2022) and more recently, the star-studded Netflix comedy You People (2023) which featured comedy legends like Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Eddie Murphy. 

Apple Studios has also signed Hill on for a Grateful Dead biopic which will be directed by Martin Scorsese.
