Varun Grover’s directorial debut is going to hit the theatres in 10 days! The semi-autobiographical coming-of-age drama set in the late ’90s about a 17-year-old boy preparing for the high-pressure IIT entrance exams has racked up rave reviews at all the film festivals it was screened at. Although this is Grover’s first venture into directing a film, he isn’t new to the world of cinema having worked as a writer and lyricist for various films and TV shows including Masaan and Sacred Games.
The comedian also uses his masterful storytelling to punch up his standup comedy, regaling us with gripping anecdotes and delivering sharp political and satirical comedy. His most recent show titled Nothing Makes Sense drives that point home like no other. The comedian is going to tour Europe with the show in April and will hopefully add some dates in India as well so you can catch him live in action.
