After a little over a year, Kunal Kamra has come back with a brand new standup special titled Naya Bharat. In the self-released special available on his YouTube channel, the comedian isn’t holding back any punches, talking about Indian politics in his trademark unfiltered fashion. “Abhi 239 ya 240 seats hain inke, ab main kya bolu?” he says at the beginning of the special. “Toh fir maine apne drafts khole. Maine bola main dekhta hoon ki main 350 pe kya nahi bol paa raha tha.” There’s also a section dedicated to the Ambani wedding.

This might be Kamra’s first standup release in a year but the comedian has been busy dropping documentaries that focus on India’s gig economy (The Dark Side of Indian Start-Up Ecosystem), Shyam Rangeela’s campaigning efforts (Jamoora) and analysing the political wins and losses of the last four years in his Report Card series.
