After ‘Amicable’ Split With EIC, Sorabh Pant & Atul Khatri to Start Own Comedy Collective

In April 2017, Sorabh Pant quit EIC, which he founded in 2012 and grew into one of India’s biggest comedy collectives, to focus on his solo career. Two months later, Atul Khatri also quit the collective to go his own way. They have since been touring live independently in India and internationally, releasing specials on OTT platforms, cashing in on corporate shows, and following their kids around hoping for new material.

However, sources close to the subjects have revealed that Pant and Khatri are now coming together to form a new comedy collective that will specialise in not falling apart.
