That Shah Rukh Khan practically has the entire country eating out of the palm of his hand is no surprise to any of us. But can you imagine David Letterman’s brain combusting when he stood on the balcony of Mannat, the actor’s home, and actually saw the madness for himself?

Letterman was here earlier this year on Eid, spending the day with SRK for an episode on his Netflix show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with “the most popular movie film star in the world”. In the teaser for the episode, we see the American television host, comedian and writer interacting with the always-cheeky actor, followed by lofty declarations like “the biggest ovation we’ve had in the series”, “there’s something about that man that has made it a different experience” and “the most fun I’ve ever had”. Oh, we know, Letterman. We know. Get in line with that open arms pose, already.
