Vir Das’ action caper Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos is heading to Netflix on 1 April, marking the film’s digital debut after its theatrical release earlier this year on 16 January 2026.

Directed by Vir Das and Kavi Shastri, the Hindi-language spy comedy follows a good-hearted oaf who is sent on a spy mission to India that quickly spirals into absurd territory. The film stars Das as the titular character alongside Mithila Palkar, Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi and Srushti Tawade, and also marks Imran Khan’s return to the big screen after a long hiatus.

Backed by Aamir Khan Productions—with Aamir Khan also making a special appearance—the film doubles as Das’ feature directorial debut, adding to his constantly growing and evolving repertoire.
