Two days ago, comedian Vir Das revealed on his social media handles that he was set to record his new special on 19 October at the Dome, NSCI SVP Stadium in Mumbai. The tickets for the show went live at 11am this morning and were sold out within 22 minutes. Das has now announced one more show on the same day in an Instagram post. “INSANE. JUST INSANE. Thank you Mumbai,” he wrote in the caption. The tickets for the 5pm show will go live this evening.

Das has had a stellar run in the last few years, earning global recognition for this comedy, winning an International Emmy for his Netflix special Landing, touring extensively with his latest show and most recently completing his run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He is also part of Amazon Prime Video’s new web series Call Me Bae starring Ananya Panday. The show is set to premiere on 6 September.
