India is going to be all about the exit polls for the next few days till weโre done with the General Elections 2019โtouted as one of the biggest events in the history of Indian democracy. As we wait with bated breath for 23 May, when we’ll finally know who we voted into power, comedian Kunal Kamra will join activist Dhruv Rathee and satirist Akash Banerjee in one of the most anticipated election shows online this season, Votes Up.
Kunal Kamra has been going hard on right wing bhakts for as long we can remember, most recently popping up on our feeds with his “Don’t vote for Modi” campaign on social media. Activist Dhruv Rathee is also a popular AF YouTuber, known for his woke takes on social, political and environmental issues in India. And then thereโs Akash Banerjee, the host of The DeshBhakt, a satirical show on Indian politics.
On Thursday, the trio goes live on YouTube with Votes UP, and will be joined by News Laundry, Gul Panag, The Ganatantra Podcast, some noted journalists and party spokespersons. Join them with the election results beginning 9 am on 23 May on Kunal Kamra’s, Dhruv Rathee’s, Akash Banerjee’s and News Laundry’s YouTube channels.
