What’s a better time to hit you with another instalment of the DA Weekly Roundup than a Monday? We’ve got a clip for every day a week, starting with Amy Silverberg’s masterclass on breakups, a new tie-bit from Aakash Mehta’s YouTube special, an Andrew Schulz hot-take for hump-day, some Kunal Kamra crowdwork and Devesh Dixit’s 17-minuter on rivalry that’ll put you and your boss to shame. Let’s dive right in!

1) AMY SILVERBERG – INTERPRETING A BREAKUP TEXT

If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that comedians will go to any length to get their hands on new material. Comedian and Professor at University of Southern California, Amy Silverberg didn’t have to go far. In this clip, the literature Professor tells us all about the challenging homework her students give her.

2) AAKASH MEHTA – BAAP BANA DOST | LIFE RIGHT NOW PART 2

In the second instalment of his multi-part YouTube special Life Right Now Aakash Mehta talks about his relationship with his dad. Anything but a sob story though, as Mehta outlines the many ways his dad has tried to connect with him, whether through adopting new age lingo like “yo” (c’mon, it’s the thought that counts) or just straight up declaring the two to be friends.

3) ANDREW SCHULZ -FEMINISTS WANT TO BE MEN

In a clip from Andrew Schulz’s latest special Infamous (which is up for sale on Schulz’s website again!), the comedian walks the tightrope yet again. This time, he asks if feminists are fighting for the right to become the men they’ve always hated. Flagrant to say the least!

4) KUNAL KAMRA – YOU DID THIS – EPISODE 4

Kunal Kamra has started touring again with his crowdwork show You Did This. This isn’t a normal crowd-work show. In fact, rather than work the crowds himself, Kamra lets the crowd work him. The comic picks chits out of a  bowl that have been anonymously filled by audience members. Kamra’s quick wit helps him come up with poignant quips right on the spot. He’s flipped the format and now released four such clips. What do you think of the comic’s latest experiment?

5) DEVESH DIXIT – SCHOOL RIVALRY

In his latest clip, Devesh Dixit tells the story of an epic rivalry between his school’s most notorious student Gajendra Choudhary and the formidable school principal Ashok Rajavath. Dixit recounts how the two went round for round, until Choudhary’s inter-school mega prank led to Rajavath’s resignation. Messi and Ronaldo have nothing on this pair!
