On 6 February 2020, the line-up of The Indian All-Star Comedy Showcase at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival was revealed, as Biswa Kalyan Rath, Rohan Joshi, Azeem Banatwalla and Urooj Ashfaq announced their performances.

And, as you might have expected, now there’s news that lots more is scheduled for the 33rd edition of the MICF.

In addition to being a part of the All-Star showcase, Biswa will also perform his solo, ‘Biswa Kalyan Rath Live‘ at the festival.

After he took ‘Teetar’ (now called ‘Yours Sincerely’) to the second-largest international comedy festival in the world in 2019, Kanan Gill returns to MICF this year with his new special (already!), ‘The End‘, with 22 solo shows.

In even more exciting news, we found out that The Circuit Comedy Festival (programmed to feature performances by over 100 comedians) in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai, will also be travelling to Australia this year as India’s Comedy Circuit. Co-presented by OML (Only Much Louder) and MICF—for the very first time—this segment will feature Anirban Dasgupta, Sonali Thakker (who’ve both performed at the festival in the past) and Ramya Ramapriya; they will be doing 22 shows.
