Let the word out, DeadAnt has dropped another Podcast Playlist!

How much does Virat Kohli charge for an Instagram post? Is Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend of Indian origin? How old is she? You’ll get answers to all of this and more on the latest episode of Three Drinks Later. On the other side of things, we’re getting an over-the-seas version of Pretentious Movie Reviews as comedians Jason Mantzoukas, Paul Scheer and June Diane Raphael overanalyse and destroy movie franchises on How Did This Get Made? Mike Birbiglia’s Working On It and Marc Maron’s WTF is on offer for all the comedy nerds. The former’s chat with Zarna Garg is an old episode from 2022 which he has re-released in light of Garg’s latest Prime Video special One In A Billion. Meanwhile, Maron discusses Ramy Youssef’s transition to the screen and Sarah Silverman keeps it casual on her podcast, discussing moms, motorboats and grandpas (thank god for commas, amirite?)

3 Drinks Later w/ Sorabh Pant – Virat Kohli & Leo’s “Indian GF” ft. Kautuk Srivastava and Sumaira Shaikh

The bottles are out and the glasses are filled for another episode of Sorabh Pant’s new podcast Three Drinks Later. As the guests sip on some adult juice and let loose, the show meanders through a number of topics including creative processes, pop culture references and obviously Indian cricket.

In this episode, Pant (or Jai Rogan as his aston reads) is joined by storyteller Kautuk Srivastava and story writer Sumaita Shaikh. Things quickly kick-off as the trio discuss the most pressing piece of news—is Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend of Indian origin? But wait for the shocking part. She’s… 28 years old. They are also discussing Instagram rates to put up posts. How much does Virat Kohli charge for a spot on his feed? Watch the episode to find out.

How Did This Get Made? – Last Looks: Fast X

“Good bad” movies are an entire genre in themselves and there’s nothing more fun than sitting with a group of friends and ripping into them. Gunda, The Room, anything with Vin Diesel in it. Jason Mantzoukas, Paul Scheer and June Diane Raphael get together every week to do exactly this on the How Did This Get Made? podcast.

This week, they took some last looks at the latest instalment in the Fast & Furious franchise. If you’re a fan of Dom Toretto and are all about the family, this episode might sting a little but don’t take yourself too seriously no? It’s a Fast & Furious movie. The hosts are analysing all the corrections and omissions that went into the latest film. The edits were pretty stupid to be honest and that’s grinding some gears.

WTF w/ Marc Maron – Ramy Youssef

Marc Maron could be dubbed the Godfather of comedy podcasts. The man has been in the game for over 10 years, treating us to candid conversations and priceless advice as he’s joined by comedy royalty on every episode of WTF.

In the latest one, he is joined by Ramy Youssef, surprise Hollywood phenom who picked up the Golden Globe for Best Actor for his performance in Ramy. The duo explore Youssef’s relationship with faith and culture, dissecting how he’s mined it for comedic material. Youssef has a lot to say about his own inspirations and mentors who helped him transition from the comedy stage to TV seamlessly. Watch the episode to find out who he’s talking about!

Working It Out w/ Mike Birbiglia – Zarna Garg

Mike Birbiglia’s podcast Working It Out completed 100 episodes recently. The host is taking a much-deserved break from the mic but that doesn’t mean he’s leaving us hanging this week. He scoured his archives to dig out his chat with comedian Zarna Garg, who has recently released her highly acclaimed debut special One In A Billion so this episode—a peek into her rollercoaster career—adds another layer to her lore.

The hour-long chat isn’t all laughs and giggles. It’s an emotional refresher about Garg’s meteoric rise to fame. The two go through Garg’s daughter Zoya’s New York Times essay explaining her mother’s struggles. There’s a lot more about Garg trashing on her mother-in-law in her material, her approach to the craft and jokes (or threats) about upgrading to a better husband.

The Sarah Silverman Podcast – Moms, Motorboating, Grandpa

Sarah Silverman has earned her place in the comedy big leagues. With years of experience and hundreds of comedy credits, she has a lot to offer on the insight front. The comedian has been doing exactly that on her eponymous podcast where she discusses her personal life, updates in the world of comedy and everything else.

On Thursday’s episode, Silverman got into the nitty-gritties about impressing your partner’s mom, sought the thrills of motorboating vicariously and spoke about her grandpa.
