Johnny Lever, one of India’s most iconic comedians, has announced an exclusive partnership with Unlu—a fan engagement platform—and will now appear on our mobile screens to impart 40 years of comic wisdom in his “UnluClass”. Lever’s announcement also marked the launch of Unlu’s non-academic learning platform UnluClass, which will curate celebrities and artists who are veterans in their fields, and help them condense 20-25 years of experiences in a few classes.

Lever revealed his partnership with Unlu yesterday when he uploaded a trailer of his Unluclass on Instagram. Set to go live on 15 January, Lever promises to teach fundamental lessons of comedy such as writing a set, improvisation, mimicry, and much more.

Lever has been a part of the film industry for over 40 years and has starred in more than a hundred films, with some of the most notable roles being Babulal (‘Baazigar’), Col. Almeida (‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’), Bankhey (‘Dulhe Raja’), and Ram Lal (‘Baadshah’).

Unluclass will soon launch other classes taught by world-renowned instructors in various fields like comedy, music, writing, design, photography, fashion, film and TV, sports, entrepreneurship, lifestyle and much more. Class fees will start at just Rs 499.
