Zakir Khan and Amit Tandon are all set to perform at the Dubai Comedy Festival 2023 on 14 and 19 May respectively. Both comedians have gained a large following, particularly amongst the Indian diaspora, for their unique brand of humor that resonates with audiences across different age groups and backgrounds.

“It’s always fun performing in Dubai, but being part of such a big comedy festival is definitely great. I’m very happy I’m one of the few guys from here who’s performing”, says Amit Tandon speaking to DeadAnt. “The show that I’m doing, there is a lot of new material. I’ve written a new show which is around two hours, so I’ll probably do an hour out of that show.”

Tandon also told us he’s really looking forward to Jim Jefferies and Jimmy Carr’s performances at the festival.

The Dubai Comedy Festival is an annual event that celebrates the best of stand-up comedy from around the world. This year’s edition, scheduled to take place from 12 – 21 May 2023, has a lineup that includes some of the biggest names in comedy. In addition to Zakir Khan and Amit Tandon, the festival will also feature performances by the likes of Stuart Taylor, Jimmy Carr, Jim Jefferies, Dara Ó Briain, Rafinha Bastos, Atsuko Okatsuka, Beth Stelling and Rachel Feinstein, and more.
