All eyes are on comedian and writer Punya Arora this weekend with the release of Netflix’s ‘Masaba Masaba’, a show that she has both acted in and written for. Arora makes a quick appearance as a standup comic in the Sonam Nair show, which is a fictionalised re-telling of the stories of titular fashion designer Masaba Gupta and her mother Neena Gupta.

Alongside Arora, the show also has Nandini Gupta, Anupama Ramachandran, and Nair herself as writers. The cast includes Satyadeep Mishra, Neil Bhoopalam, Rytasha Rathore, Mithila Palkar, Tanul Virvani and Gajraj Rao.

‘Masaba Masaba’ is available for streaming on Netfix, so go watch, and keep an eye out for Arora!
