If you frequently take a scroll down Instagram lane, you must have come across Vineeth Srinivasan’s incredibly hilarious (and sometimes depressingly relatable) takes on the corporate life. In the last couple of years, Vineeth has brought his talents to the standup comedy stage, regularly performing at comedy clubs across Mumbai. In 2023, he dropped his debut standup comedy video on YouTube. He’s been chipping away at his debut hour ever since and is finally taking it on the road this weekend. The newly minted comedian will kick off his solo tour Ungrateful in Pune on 8 February and then take it to Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Here’s everything you need to know about the show.

Show is about being a hater. Not just a random hater, but like a refined hater.
How many shows are you doing, across how many cities? Will you be adding more?
I’m doing five shows across four cities. Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and two shows in Bengaluru. Planning to add Delhi and other cities soon too.
How long did you take to write this material?
This material honestly took way longer than I had hoped, practically 2-3 years.
Will you be recording this material?
Yes, I’ll be recording the Bengaluru shows. I plan to upload some of the material from there.
Why are you calling the show ‘Ungrateful’?
Because I think it conveys the tone of the show most accurately. I think gratefulness is severely overrated.
According to you, who would be the ideal plus-one for the show?
Whoever gets the question “why do you look stressed” a lot and for no apparent reason might be a great fit. Or if your date is South Indian.

What kind of plans do your cats Meechu and Nimbu have while you’re away?
Their plan is to find a way to guilt me into cancelling the tour and coming back home.
