Spread the love

Both ahead of time, and just in time for your weekend binge-watch.

“Well I just wanted to surprise everybody with some good news on this stay-at-home-self-quarantine-situation day,” says Naveen Richard, who just dropped his brand new one-hour special on Amazon Prime Video. In retrospect, however, Richard’s Relatively Relatable (who doesn’t love a good alliteration, amirite?) could not have released at a better time—self-quarantine and social distancing has made us all relate with each other in ways we never would have imagined. Aren’t we all just collectively sitting by a window, watching the world go by, reminiscing about a time when cancelling plans was optional? Sigh.

Richard’s special is a wonderful compilation of less anxiety-inducing realisations though, and it’s perfect to take your mind off the #CoronaPandemic. Like have you noticed that people always seem to say be careful when it’s too late, the comedian wonders out loud in the trailer of Relatively Relatable. Or that cockroaches are always so suspicious? Because, in hindsight, that’s relatable AF.

If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, check it out here:

But you might as well just go watch the special na? After all, as Richard summarises, “It’s Friday, I’m guessing everyone’s home. What else do you have to do? Watch it right now.”
